Our Council
Saint Mark Knights of Columbus Council 12654 was founded in 2000. The Council members work closely with Saint Mark Catholic Church and organizations and businesses in Huntersville and surrounding communities, providing volunteer services and funds for various projects. Council members and their families focus on performing charitable works and helping those in need. Though the organizations we serve are many, a major effort is made to help mentally retarded children throughout the local area through Operation LAMB (Least Among My Brethren) and Special Olympics. The Knights and their families participate in over 40 programs involving Church, Family, Youth, Community and Council.
The Council elected to change the name to honor Monsignor Joseph A. Kerin, the founding pastor at Saint Mark and the originator of the Council, to Monsignor Joseph A. Kerin Council 12654 in 2017.
