Little Sisters of the Poor July Letter English Version
Outreach and Action for New Fraternal Year 2025-2026
First, many thanks to the Maryland State Council, Grand Knights and Council members for all that was accomplished and contributed to the Little Sisters of the Poor this past fraternal year. As we launch into the new year, “Make A Difference in Someone’s Life” is a call for a collective action to bring hope and improve the lives of those in need. The Little Sisters of the Poor bring joy and hope on a daily basis to the elderly they serve - - but they need Knights of Columbus help. The Sisters must raise close to 50% of income through fundraising and donations to provide care. Donations provide safe shelter, loving care, nutritious meals, enriching activities, medical support, and nursing care to needy seniors.
LSOP Baltimore, LSOP Washington, DC and LSOP Delaware continue to request the items listed below. The need is very considerable, however numerous small donations by Councils add up and deliver great impact to help the Sisters. Strongly consider donating. The Little Sisters rely on the Knights of Columbus to bring donations to their locations or contribute online:
