Star Council Award 2018-2019

Once again, Ontario Council 3672 achieved the prestigious Star Council Award for Columbian Year 2018-2019. This was done through the outstanding efforts of our Grand Knight, David Schaefer, Deputy Grand Knight Carlos Reyes, Chancelor James Jackson and the all of the other hard working brother Knights of our Council. Our council was one of eight in the Arrowhead-Desert Valley Chapter to achieve Star Council status in 2018-2019. Our A-DV Chapter led all others in California in recruiting efforts according to IPSD Joseph Salaiz. Our worthy IPSD is pictured here, presenting the award to GK David Schaefer at the December 2019 business meeting. Congratulations to David and all our Council 3672 brothers!

STAR COUNCIL STATUS

Ontario Council 3672 achieved Star Council Status for Columbian Year 2015-2016 as was reported by our Supreme Council in late August.  To achieve this lofty and prestigious award, a council must satisfy its goals in new member recruiting, new insurance member sign-ups, participate in numerous programs as designated by our Supreme Council and stay in good standing with Supreme.

Through the hard work of our members, officers and our Field Agent we were able to satisfy all of the needed elements this past year. We had been very close in previous years, having been awarded the Columbian Award (programs), Fr. McGivney Award (membership) and the Founders Award (insurance) either alone or in combo with one of the others, but it all came together this past year. Congratulations to Grand Knight Peter-John Mafnas, Deputy Grand Knight David Kotce and Chancellor Dennis Altenburg, our Former District Deputy, Tom White and all of our members who worked together to earn this award.
