Council Donation to Birthright

Grand Knight Dennis Corbisero of Our Lady of the Lakes Council 3359 in Denville, NJ presents the Council's annual donation of baby clothes to Birthright of Dover  volunteers, (l-r) Anne Kopet,  Patricia Tafares, Sonia Tafaresand.   This is the Council's 10th year donating baby clothes to Birthright. This year's donation consisted of sixty, feet in fleece pajamas from new born to twenty-four months.  Brother Ed Gabel is the chairman and purchaser for the project.  Anybody wishing to help with donations toward the baby clothes should contact  Ed at 973-627-7119

The “Keep Christ in Christmas” car magnet and button pin sale is a fundraiser sponsored by Our Lady of the Lakes, Knights of Columbus Council #3359. Funds generated by the sales will be used to supply each child who receives Holy Communion, at participating parishes, with a rosary, scapular and prayer book. Please see the attached flyer for details about the magnets and pins.

KofC 8GB USB WRISTBANDCC

Attached is an order form for a 8GB USB wristband the council is selling to raise money for some of the charities that we support.  The wristbands hold 8GB of data, music, videos and photos and are "plug and play" ready for your computer. The wristband will work with Windows OS, Mac OS and Linux OS.  All profits from the sale of the wristbands will be donated to support the following:

  • Pro-Life Causes (Birthright, Birth Haven, March for Life Bus Trip);
  • Catholic education; and
  • Seminarians, postulates, novices and diaconate candidates.

Please consider purchasing these USB wristbands. A photo of the wristbands and information about them is located on the order form located above .They are handy for transferring and storing data, and helpful for students.

 

Our Lady of the Lakes Council #3359 supports the Department for Disabilities for Catholic Charities

The Grand Knight, John Golden, recently submitted a check for t$4,000 to Catholic Charities, Department for Persons with Disabilities.
