Exemplification of the Patriotic Degree
The next scheduled Exemplification of the Patriotic Degree will take place in Cave Creek on Saturday, December 13, 2025, hosted by Annunciation Assembly #2833. The ceremony and banquet will be held at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 32648 North Cave Creek Road, Cave Creek, 85331. The Arizona District is fortunate to have one of the top Exemplification Teams in the entire order to present the Patriotic Degree ceremony. Third-degree knights of Council 16277 are encouraged to apply. See Don Cipicchio for more information.
Winning Essays
Students in Grades 8–12 submitted a total of 42 essays. The grading committee: BKs L. Lesser, W. Rademacher, D. Saldivar, and Chair S. Kappenman. Five winning essays were forwarded to the Arizona State Program Director on October 22nd. On receipt of state and district results, awards will be presented at the respective schools. 50th Annual Rosary Celebration

Recruiting Almond Roasting Teams
Roasting and sales begin October 4/5. Recruiting two teams of 5 for roasting and a minimum of 12 Knights at each Mass (4 doors; 3 at a door). Major fundraiser. You are needed!

Do you have unused luggage? Individuals leaving foster care rarely have suitable luggage for their belongings. You can donate luggage items by bringing them to a Council meeting or by contacting Brother Knight Dave Kasper at cdkasper65@sbcglobal.net. Dave is a member of the St. Anne's Catholic Knights of Columbus.
HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY
HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY to all as we celebrate the charter of Council 16277!
Grand Knight (GK) Pat Stolze read the Monthly Fr McGivney Message and reported the
Feast Day of Blessed Michael McGivney, our founder, is celebrated on August 13th. This
date was chosen because it falls between his birthday (August 12, 1852) and the day he
passed away (August 14, 1890). We need to rededicate ourselves to further Fr. Blessed
McGivney’s challenge to recruit additional knights.
Volunteering to Read at the Knight's Mass
Any volunteers to be a reader at the Knight’s Mass, inform GK Don Cipicchio as he will arrange
training. Future Knight’s Mass will be the 2nd Saturday Vigil Mass of the month. Readers are to wear a shirt and tie and council badge. No green polo shirt is to be worn by the readers.
