The request to rename our council has been approved by Supreme.
Formerly Venerable Father Michael J McGivney Council 14549 is now:
Blessed Michael McGivney Council 14549
This ties with the current move to make Father McGiveney a Saint and the request from our council to have the name changed to tie with the current phase of making this happen.
