I am providing the attached information outlining the scholarship program sponsored by the Maryland State Council of the Knights of Columbus.
Our experience has shown that, on many occasions, members of our councils, and often the Grand Knights themselves, are not aware or informed as to the availability of these scholarships provided by our State Council. The attached information will serve as a source of information and will provide members with the knowledge of how to proceed in completing an application for one or more of these scholarships. Information and applications may be obtained by accessing our web site at: www.kofc-md.org/high-school-scholarships.
Children of Knights of Columbus members, in good standing, of Maryland Jurisdiction Councils are eligible to apply for both the Gossman and O'Brien Scholarships. Al other Catholic students are eligible for the O'Brien scholarship only.
