On June 25, a Chalice ceremony was performed at St. Simon in memory of SK Lenny Meyer. Fourth degree knights have the option to have a chalice with their name on it placed into service. After this chalice was blessed, Lenny's wife Elizabeth served as an extraordinary minister and presented the precious blood to council members during communion. The Meyer family chose to give this chalice to missionaries for overseas evangelization.
New Ladies Auxiliary officers for the 2023-24 fraternal year were installed on June 15, 2023.
The council awarded scholarships to the finalists on April 20, 2023. These awards go to deserving young men and women who are graduating 8th grade at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic school and are attending a Catholic high school in the fall. The winners receive $750 paid to their school. Congratulations!
The council awarded scholarships to the finalists on May 19, 2022. These awards go to deserving young men and women who are graduating 8th grade at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic school and are attending a Catholic high school in the fall. The recipients for 2022 are: Alex Roth (SLUH), Ally Hof (Cor Jesu), Max Roessler (SLUH), and Connor Kuehl (SLUH). Congratulations!
Congratulations to our own Annabelle Kunz! She won the Knights of Columbus State of Missouri Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest for the 5-7 year old group. This is quite a feat as Annabelle had to compete against potentially over 170 councils! She was presented with a plaque at the 5/18/17 Knights of Columbus Crusader Council 11146 General Business Meeting. Here's what her beautiful poster looked like. Way to go, Annabelle!

Lenny and Elizabeth Meyer were honored as the Knights of Columbus State of Missouri Family of the Month for January 2017. A well deserved and long overdue award to a wonderful, selfless giving family, who spend countless hours helping others. The award was presented to Lenny and Elizabeth at our 3/16/17 GBM. Thanks for all that you do and the exemplary way in which you do it!

The Knights of Columbus Crusader Council 11146 awarded two seminarians the Refund Suport Vocations Program (RSVP) scholarship this year. They were Josh Sienkiewicz and Samuel Enonatyi. Each received a $1,000 check to help offset some of the costs of seminary life. Congratulations to both Josh and Samuel.
