Our new popcorn machine is a big hit with the parishioners. I have used it for two Sundays at the coffee and donuts for the 9 am and the 12 o clock Masses. All the kids young and old love it. Today I was asked if I would make popcorn for a movie next Sunday. A group from the 12 o clock Mass will be showing The Passion of the Christ buy Mel Gibson. So guess where I will be it is a good chance to bring the whole community together.
We just had our first Movie Night and we are off to a good start. The film was the Young Messiah. And we had 12 parishioners in attendance. There was popcorn and soft drinks for refreshments. So mark your calendar for the next Movie Night that will be on the first Saturday of March 3/4/17 at 7:15 after the 6 pm Mass in the Parish center.
The film The Son of God was suggested for the next movie. So please let me know by emailing John Howes at st.petersknightsofcolumbus@gmail.com if you have any suggestions.
