David Lashford selected as the EFF Director for COR (Heart to Heart)

David Lashford has been selected to be the Evangelization and Faith Formation (EFF) Director, who will oversee all aspects of implementing and running COR. COR is Latin and it means “Cor ad cor loquitur. (Heart speaks to heart.)” - St. John Henry Newman.

Cor is a flexible framework focused on prayer, formation, and fraternity, designed to help men deepen their relationship with Jesus. The EFF Director seeks to form and strengthening them in faith and virtue through brotherhood committed to prayer, formation, and fraternity. Each Cor gathering aims to help men encounter Christ, pray together, grow in faith, and build bonds of brotherhood, preparing them for leadership and evangelization within their families and communities.

Families need strong husbands and fathers, and the world requires bold witnesses to Jesus Christ. Through Cor, men are formed as disciples of Jesus, dedicated to serving Him and living their faith courageously. Every Catholic man is called to bring Jesus to a broken world. To fulfill this mission, they need a strong relationship with God, rooted in prayer and the sacraments. Catholic men must actively invest in their faith formation, participate in dynamic brotherhoods that support and strengthen them, and engage in the Church’s mission.
