IN MEMORIAM

SK Enrico R. "Rick" Megaro - 1962-2025

It is with heavy hearts that we remember Brother Rick Megaro, who passed away on April 11th. His funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 21st, at St. Kevin Church. A link to his obituary can be found at the link below.

Rick became a valued member of our council in 2006 when Grand Knight John Kearney issued a call during Sunday masses, inviting men to join the Knights of Columbus. Without hesitation, Rick answered that call, immersing himself in service and leadership. He went on to serve as Grand Knight from July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2011, and continued his unwavering dedication as a trustee and membership chairman.

A proud 4th-degree Knight, Rick was also an active member of Cardinal Dougherty Assembly. His contributions to Our Lady of Lourdes Council and St. Kevin Parish were immeasurable, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Rest in peace, Rick. Your legacy of faith, commitment, and service will endure.

Nearly 300 flowers were distributed, serving as a small but meaningful token of appreciation for their love and devotion.
