Passing of the Gavel!
Past Grand Knight Gary Reed passed the gavel onto New Grand Knight, Zach Midles, as if it were a hot potato! Gary served two years as the Grand Knight of our Council. During Gary's tenure, the council received many awards and gained record membership numbers, thanks to his leadership. Gary we will miss you as our leader and appreciate your endless hours and devotion to our Council, and to the Church. At the same time, we are excited to gain Zach as our new leader. Zach is an inspiration to all members and has been a pillar to our council since he began his membership in the Knights only 3 years ago.
New Sir Knights from St. Barbara Church Council!
On June 1st, 2024, three members of St. Barbara Council 11736 took a big step to become Sir Knights in the Knights of Columbus Order of the 4th Degree. These Sir Knights are now a part of the 4th Degree, which is the Patriotic degree of the Knights. They are now qualified to wear the signature uniform regalia and participate in the Color Corps of the Knights of Columbus if they choose to do so. They will also be involved in patriotic duties, such as supporting our active duty military and the veterans in our community. Congratulations to SK Zach Midles, SK Gabe Hanzeli and SK Gene Fenton!
