Mr. & Mrs. Dennis Fadler

DENNIS & LEE ANN FADLER 2025 FAMILY OF THE YEAR

Faith and service are central to Dennis life. He is a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church since 1988, serving as Parish Council President (1993-94) and as Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 9272 (2015-17). He could always organize a great pancake breakfast or fish fry. Congratulations to Dennis & Lee Ann Fadler 2018 Family of the Year.

Dennis has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for 16-years. Former Grand Knight from 2015 to 2017 and 2016 Star Council Award recipient, plus add 2003 Knight of the Year, Impressive. Dennis is the Save-A-Label coordinator.

Dennis with the assistance of his wife Lee Ann are very instrumental in all council food events. Together they are dedicated to youth programs and coordinate the children’s Christmas Party, Halloween Party, Easter Egg Hunt, May Crowning Parish Picnic and the Knights Free Throw Contest. Dennis is the event Chairman/Coordinator for all 6-Lenten Fish Fry dinners per year. Ensuring we are fully staffed and supplied with food. He also oversees the annual Auto Auction Fish Fry. Lee Ann also sits on Good Shepherds Finance Committee as acting Chairman.

Michael & Kathryn Macken

Congratulations to Michael & Kathryn, 2019-2020 Family of the Year.

Michael completed his 1st Degree back in August of 1987 and is a valuable member of Good Shepherd Parrish since 2010. He is very active in council & Parrish activities, food events and work crews as well as being a Eucharist minster and a lector for daily mass. Michael is involved with TMIY and is a Cursillista, attending Cursillo #266 in Febuary of 2019. Kathryn is also a Eucharist minster, and assists with council & Parrish food events throughout the year and is a participant in a women’s spiritual group. She is a faithful participant in serving in the Homebound Ministry at Good Shepherd.

Michael & Kathryn are very family oriented with eight grown children and 19-grandchildren with number 20 due in April of 2020. They also have a full set of 5-great grandchildren!!

With Kathryn’s loving support combined with Michael’s vibrant & permanent smile was the advantage that put them over the top for Family of the Year.

Once again congratulations to Michael & Kathryn dedication to the Knight of Columbus and for living a life in God’s Grace.
