John R. Borges
69, of Carmel, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013. John was born April 18, 1944 in Flushing, NY to the late John R. Sr., and Jane Borges. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University.
John retired from Danco in January of 2013. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church and was Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He also served as a Stephen Minister leader.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 9 in St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, where friends and family are invited to gather from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8.
John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Karen; son, Derek J. Borges; daughter, Amy S. Borges; sisters, Barbara (Larry) Erera and Mary (Grieg) McDowell; brothers, Jim (Patricia) and Joe Borges.
