He died on September 4, 2017, Virgilio Ferreira Saraiva, 68, a native of Figueiró da Serra, Gouveia, having his final residence in Colonia, NJ.
He is survived by his wife Olinda Oliveira Saraiva; his sons Michael (and daughter-in-law Patricia) and Lauren; his grandchildren Nikolas, Samuel, John and Jonas and their brothers-in-law and nephews.
Funeral services will be provided by Schmidt Funeral Home with a visit between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm on September 6 at its location, 139 Westfield Ave in Elizabeth NJ, followed by the Saint Gertrudes RC Cemetery in Colonia NJ, after the Mass celebrated in the church Our Lady of Fatima in Elizabeth NJ, at 11 am on the 7th of September.
Instead of flowers, the family thanks donations for Masses in their name.
