Eugene ``Buddy'' F. O'Boyle died Oct. 3 at Morristown Hospital, Morristown, N.J.
Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Eugene and Kathleen (Best) O'Boyle. He graduated from Pittston High School. Prior to retirement, he worked for Elastic Stop Nut-Harvard Industries, Union, N.J. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus, Council 5487 Garwood and the Fourth Degree of Knights of Columbus Assembly 651, Elizabeth, N.J. He was past faithful navigator and commander of the Color Corps.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Mary Kathryn (Morrow) O'Boyle.
Surviving are son, Joseph, daughter, Joan Nugent, seven grandchildren, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and several cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the Church of the Assumption, Roselle Park, N.J.
Interment was held in the Gracelans Memorial Park Cemetery, Kenilworth, N.J.
