Reynaldo (Ray) DeLara, 67 of Mineral Wells, TX died peacefully in Dallas, TX after a lengthy illness. All immediate family members were at his bedside. He was born in Baird, TX on March 25, 1948 to the late Clemente Sr. and late Manuela DeLara. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad. He belonged to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He married Kathleen F. DeLara on July 31, 1982 in Merkel, TX. He enjoyed cooking, dancing and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Kathy and son Anthony of Mineral Wells. Daughters Sarah (Kevin), Rebecca and Juliana and Gilberto Guerrero and the apple of his eye, his grandson Wyatt; brother Clemente DeLara Jr (Delores), sisters Virginia, Yolanda, Gloria (Jessie) Gallegos, Patricia (Martin) Gonzalez ; mother-in-law Theresa Figueroa of Merrillville, IN; Mark Figueroa, Judi Salas, Karen (Jaime) Ortiz all of California, JoAnne (Nelson) Arroyo, Matt Figueroa and Jeff Vargo also of Merrillville. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded him in death were his parents, father-in-law George H. Figueroa and brother-in-law Donny.
