Sir Knight Joe Osterhage received his 1st degree on February 26, 2003, 2nd and 3rd degree on March 28, 2004 and his 4th degree on April 9th, 2005. Joe was born October 7, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of the late Vincent Joseph and Mary Kathryn Monroe Osterhage, and passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Tuesday April 22, 2008. Joe was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nacogdoches and served as an usher at the church. Mr. Osterhage was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Vietnam War. Joe was a retired funeral director at Laird Funeral Home in Nacogdoches. He was also a member of American Legion Post 127, Tomball, Texas. Joe was president of the Nacogdoches Noon Lions Club. |
