Sir Knight E.L. Luna became a 1st degree knight on June 1,1984, 2nd and 3rd degree knight on September 23, 1984 and a sir knight of the fourth degree on March 11, 1995. El served Assembly 2665 as Inner Sentinel from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2009 SK. Luna was born on October 14, 1915, to the late Nora Poskey and John Luna and was called home by the Lord on December 25, 2011. E.L. lived in Nacogdoches all his life. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He worked for Champion Paper Mill in Lufkin, Texas for 32 years. E.L. retired to help his wife, Faustina with Luna's Restuarant. He loved playing the guitar, singing and dancing and was very talented at all three. He also had a passion for sports, especially football. But more than anything he loved his wife and family. |
