Joseph Patrick McKenna “Patâ€, 80 of Millsboro passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
Pat was born in Chester, PA, the son of the late Eleanor (Zeller) and James J. McKenna. He was a graduate of St. James High School and served his country in the U. S. Army. He retired as a warehouse manager for Allergy Solutions. Pat was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus with the St. John the Beloved Council, a member of Mary, Mother of Peace Church and the American Legion Post 28.
Pat is survived by his wife of 20 years, Norma C. (Talley) Day; his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Ann and Angelo Amoroso of Honey Brook, PA; his sons, James of Aston, PA and Timothy of Bear, DE; his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Kathleen, Ryan and Caitlyn; his great-grandchildren, Conner,and Ryan. His brother, Larry McKenna of Wilmington and his sister, Marie Miazza and her husband, Ed of Aston, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM, at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, where friends may visit after 10:00 AM.. Burial will be private.
