Robert F. Mantey, Jr., 69, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Friday June 14, 2019.
Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus Seton Council. He enjoyed golfing, swimming, reading, gardening and taking care of his two dogs, Gus and Mugsy.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Teri; children, Lauren Mantey, Katie (Marc) Perel, Mary Mantey, and Joe Walls; grandson, Trysten Walls; siblings, Laura Barsky, Martha Como, Drew Mantey, Mary Claire Hartmann and Chris Mantey; he is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Rita Mantey, son, Pete Mantey and brother, Michael Mantey.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, June 20 from 10 AM to 11 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 345 Bear Christiana Road in Bear, where a memorial mass will be held at 11 AM.
