Domenic Iafrato, August 21, 1924 to September 7, 2014

Domenic was born on Staten Island, NY. He grew up there and married Rosemary there on 20 February 1946, and owned and operated a recycling business on the island. He served in the US Coast Guard for three years during WWII. They moved to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania for ten years, then relocated to Chesapeake and resided with their son Domenick.

Domenic enjoyed a wide array of sports. He was a fan and owner of stock cars in Long Island and was an avid fan of all of the New York City sport teams. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards and so enjoyed his vacations in Myrtle Beach

Domenic and Rosemary have three children;
Connie (Albert) - lives in PA
Frank (Ella) - lives in AZ
Domenic Jr. - lives in Chesapeake VA,
and 3 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.

Seven years ago Domenic suffer a paralyzing stroke after heart surgery. He remained mainly confined to bed, at home, during this period. Thanks to the love and care of Rosemary and Domenic Jr. he remained with us until now.
