Knight’s Prayer

Our Lady, Queen of the Knights, bless all the activities of our Order. Keep us true to our pledge, to extend the kingship of thy divine son on earth. Through Thine intercession, win for us the grace, ever to exemplify in our public and private lives, the virtues that should characterize those especially dedicated to the service of the heavenly court. Make us always aware that as your Knights, we are constantly observed, our faith judged, and our Order appreciated. Accept, O Mary, this renewed pledge of fealty and devotion, of Thy Servants, the Knights of Columbus.

Assembly 25 (Ft. Smith, Arkansas) 4th Degree Chalice Makes Its Way to Surviving Granddaughter of SK Mack J. Miller 53 Years Later

SK Mack J. Miller 4th Degree Chalice

Recently, a 4th Degree chalice inscribed "SK Mack J Miller-Ft Smith Assembly-Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus-1874-1966" came into the possession of FN John Seifert.  Initial attempts to identify SK Mack J. Miller and his connection to Dublin, Texas, proved negative. As a result, FN Seifert reached out to PFN Mike Waguespack in an effort to identify a living relative of SK Miller so that the chalice could be returned to its proper home. SK Waguespack then reached out to Right Reverend Monsignor Patrick F. Horan Assembly 25 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, where it was thought the chalice originated. Concurrently, SK Waguespack began an extensive on-line search for information relating to Mack J. Miller that included reviewing records available in Ancestry.com.
