Worthy Brothers, This event is a wonderful opportunity to begin the celebration for the USA's 250th Anniversary.  

Annual Flag Day Celebration.  Details may be subject to change and will be updated when known.

EVENT: Color Guard - Flag Day, Estimated Start time after 2:30 PM
TIME TO ASSEMBLE: 2:00 PM (in front of Peg Bond Center. Arrive early to find legal parking on street)

 The day’s agenda is:(subject to update)

IL Historian Tom Emery will give a presentation in the Council Chambers at Batavia City Hall about Dr. Bernard Cigrand (a long time Batavia dentist who is considered by many to be the Father of Flag Day)
-Estimate time after 2:30 Flag Day program at the Peg Bond Center; Color Guard can be at the stage next to the Batavia Community Band while they play a song, followed by the raising of the flag at the Flag Day Monument and The Star-Spangled Banner and Pledge of Allegiance; after the Pledge of Allegiance, the Color Guard can depart the stage (the speakers begin then).

PS- Our event continues at the VFW from 4:00-6:00 for Red, White and Brews: Hanging with Our Heroes. Please join us for that, too, if time allows.

Featuring special guests like the **Fox Valley Patriotic Organization**, **Sons, Daughters, and Children of the American Revolution**, **Knights of Columbus Honor Guard**, SAR **Color Guard**, Veterans, City of Batavia First Responders, and Scouts.
