San Damiano Assembly 3192 is proud to continue our relationship with The Fire Watch organization as we work toward achieving Veteran Safe Place Certification. This certification requires training at least 50 members of our Assembly community in Watch Stander skills—a goal we are steadily advancing toward.

We successfully launched this initiative in November 2025 and have trained 31 Sir Knights and spouses to date. We continue offering training sessions throughout 2026, every member trained brings us closer to certification and, more importantly, equips our Assembly to be a true lifeline for Veterans in crisis within our community.

Your participation matters. Whether you are a Veteran yourself or simply want to support those who have served, these sessions provide practical, life-saving skills that take just one hour to learn.

The Fire Watch is Florida's fight to end Veteran suicide. We are building a life-saving network of community members and organizations trained to identify the warning signs of Veterans in crisis and to direct those Veterans to the help they need.

Spouses Are Welcome:

We are pleased to confirm that spouses are welcome to join. We had several spouses participate in our December session. The Watch Stander skills are valuable for anyone in our community who may encounter Veterans in crisis. Both sessions will be held in the OLA Parish Activity Center.
