SK Robert S Hedstrom is the Event Chairman for this event 2025 WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA - SATURDAY DECEMBER 13, 2025 The Sarasota National Cemetary is now open for Vehicle passes for this year's Event December 13, 2025; this is for entry at 11:30 am. Knights can go to http://www.sarasotawreaths. 11:30 Entry 12:00 Service 1:00 Wreath Laying I would encourage all that are thinking about supporting this year's event to go online and reserve their passes. This is a very special event, and we're all looking forward to this year's participation from our Council. I will get information out later as we get closer about car pooling from OLA and timing, and coordinating our meeting location at the Cemetary. If you are planning on attending, email me at rshedstrom@yahoo.com and let me know if you'll be a) driving separately to the cemetary or b) have a car and can car pool from OLA. Also, let me know how many people in your party will be attending. I'll get information out as we approach the date, to the Knights and families that have notified me they are attending. After we have laid the Wreaths and honored our Veterans, we'll be going to Inner Compass Brewing - 10316 Technology Terrace, Bradenton FL for those that can attend. Inner Compass is just north of 70 off of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard. WREATH RETIREMENT - SATURDAY,JANUARY 3, 2026 For those that can make it, Volunteers are also needed to assist with Wreath Retirement at Sarasota National Cemetery. January 3, 2026 at 8:00am until approximately 10am. Rain or Shine Event! Please register by EMAIL at sarasotawreaths@gmail.com, and provide your name, organization if any, and number of people in your group. Enter at the 2nd Entrance (East) and park at the Maintenance Building. Please wear comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes (grounds will be damp/wet), garden gloves, and bring a broom handle/PVC pipe/paint pole for carrying multiple wreaths at one time.
