Kevin Botterman had told us (Batavia Flag Day Committee) that the Knights of Columbus would again be willing to have their Color Guard join us at our annual Flag Day event on June 14. The day’s agenda is:
-1:00 IL Historian Tom Emery will give a presentation in the Council Chambers at Batavia City Hall about Dr. Bernard Cigrand (a long time Batavia dentist who is considered by many to be the Father of Flag Day)
-2:00 Flag Day program at the Peg Bond Center; Color Guard can be at the stage next to the Batavia Community Band while they play a song, followed by the raising of the flag at the Flag Day Monument and The Star-Spangled Banner and Pledge of Allegiance; after the Pledge of Allegiance, the Color Guard can depart the stage (the speakers begin then).

PS- Our event continues at the VFW from 4:00-6:00 for Red, White and Brews: Hanging with Our Heroes. Please join us for that, too, if time allows.

Featuring special guests like the **Fox Valley Patriotic Organization**, **Sons, Daughters, and Children of the American Revolution**, **Knights of Columbus Honor Guard**, SAR **Color Guard**, Veterans, City of Batavia First Responders, and Scouts.
