The event will he held at the outdoor patio of
the Knights of Columbus OLA Annex located
at 7704 CR675, Bradenton, FL. (at the
intersection of SR70 & SR675). Refreshments
will be served following the ceremony.
Just a reminder, there are 2 collection
containers which are accessible during
business hours at 2 locations to drop off your
old flags to be retired: Our Lady of the Angels
Parish Center Office, or the Church Narthex at
12905 State Road 70 E., Lakewood Ranch, FL
34202. Holy Cross Catholic Church will also
have a container outside the business office in
the lobby at 505 26th St W, Palmetto, FL 34221.

  November 11th: The Tara Country Club acknowledges the Knights of Columbus for their many events held there and has asked if the Knights would present the Colors at the annual Veterans Day Dinner at 5:00 PM. If you can't attend the Mass, please consider this event; a minimum of 2 Guards is required, but 4 would be ideal.

On November 11, 2025, Sarasota National Cemetery will be hosting the Annual Diocese of Venice Veterans Day Mass at 3 p.m.  Your volunteering allows us to thank the Veterans, past and present, who gave to our country instead of spending time with their families.  They allowed us to rest easy because they were protecting us and those who lost their lives.  Bishop Frank J. Dewayne has requested the Knights of Columbus to assist in organizing and sponsoring the Annual Veteran's Day Mass and Ceremonials.

This opportunity touches the very heart of our Order's raison d’être—charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.  Through your leadership, efforts, and financial support, the Knights of Columbus Fraternal Order is positioned to continue sponsoring this event as it has in past years.

 I am asking for Color Guard.  The Mass is at 3:00 PM, I do not have information on show time as of now.  I would like to suggest we meet at OLA and car pool to the cemetery (to reduce the number of cars needing to park).
