You may not be aware of this, but new data for the Shroud of Turin (Christ's burial cloth) has recently been generated using a new technique and the results definitively show that the Shroud of Turin is from the 1st century. This appeared in the news in August and is profound in that it finalizes the suspected error in the carbon dating done and 1988 and was subjectively debunked in an analysis by Ray Rogers (Thermo Chemist - Los Alamos Lab) in 2004. But now, new research released this week, has confirmed that the miraculous Shroud of Turin is not 700 years old but 2000 years old. The new dating results, pollen data, and other facts point to the alleged shroud of Jesus Christ as being 100% genuine. The new technique used Crystallography (WAXS- Wide Angle Xray Spectrometry) to determine the age of the Shroud.
