Edmund J. Tunstall passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at his home in Destrehan, LA. Beloved husband of Renee Mouras. Loving father of Bonnie Tunstall, Terrie Poehl (Charles), Kerrie Slaton (Kelvin), Sherrie Portwood (John). Grandfather of Leslie Ducatel (Mark), Meredith Portwood, Sabrina Portwood, and John Portwood, III, and the late Jonathan Slaton. Great Grandfather of Amelia Ducatel. Son of the late George and Virginia Tunstall. Brother of the late GW Tunstall, William Tunstall and Frank Tunstall. Beloved Uncle of Francis Tunstall and Virginia Tunstall. Ed was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a retired Editor of the Times Picayune and former Bureau Chief of the Associated Press. |
