Worthy Brother Knights, The time quickly approaches for the Oregon Jurisdiction Mid-year meeting (also known as the Winter Meeting), held annually the first or second weekend of January. This year, it will be January 6, 7, 8, 2023 in Independence, OR. Required attendees: State Officers, State Directors, District Deputies. Members in these positions will be reimbursed for hotel expenses, meals, and mileage. State Officers & State Directors wives will be reimbursed dollar for dollar for meals. District Deputy wives will be given a per diem of $35/day up to 2 days ($70 total). District Deputies will be reimbursed by Supreme ($0.30/mile for mileage) and State Officers/Directors will be reimbursed by the State ($0.30/mile for mileage). Wives are invited to this event as well and there will be ladies activities. Lodgings will be at the Independence Hotel - A Trace Hotel. They will hold 28 rooms for us. The group rate will be $149/night, which will be in effect until the cutoff date. The cut-off date is December 12th. This is around the corner, so make sure to do it soon. Attendees should call the hotel directly or reserve online as soon as possible to make reservations. Saturday/Sunday meeting Activities will be held at Independence City Hall. Saturday evening Mass at 5pm at St. Patrick's.
