I am a member of council 7122 though I really don’t know anyone except Bob Galloway. He got me signed up.
In 2017 I had leukemia and had chemo, radiation and a bone marrow transplant. That cured the disease.
I have recently learned that as a direct result of the chemo and radiation I experienced 8 yrs ago I now have something called Treatment-related myelodysplastic syndrome.
(t-MDS) is a rare, aggressive form of blood cancer that develops as a complication from previous chemotherapy or radiation for another cancer or disease. It occurs when stem cells in the bone marrow are damaged, leading to immature, dysfunctional blood cells. This condition often appears 4–7 years after the original treatment and has a higher risk of progressing to acute myeloid leukemia.
I am currently having chemo treatments and will have another bone marrow transplant this summer. This is more dangerous than the leukemia I had previously. There is a 30-50% chance of curing this.

I can’t go to meetings and it’s been weeks since I have been to Mass or received Holy Communion due to my compromised immune system.

Please add me to the prayer list and if there is a there is a way for me to receive Holy Communion I would be most appreciative.
