St John's Charity Golf Tournament

The Knight's of Columbus from Hot Springs Village Council 10208 and Hot Springs Council 6419 are hosting a charity golf tournament to benefit the St John's School Scholarship Fund.  The tournament will take place at Magellan Golf Course in Hot Springs Village on May 18, 2019  with a shotgun start at 9am.  The format will be a 4 person scramble.  Teams can be all male, all female or mixed.  There will be lunch provided immediately after the tournament at the Balboa Pavilion.  Entry fee is $85 per player.  There will be lots of prizes, fun games and great camaraderie all for the purpose of benefiting a wonderful charity.  Get your team together soon.  Entries need to be received by May 1st.  Entry forms are available from Hans Purkott at 501-623-8263 or Dayton Myers at 501-563-1273.  Additionally you can contact the Tournament Chairman Scott Krantz at 512-626-7711 or scojean@yahoo.com for more information or to receive an entry form. 2019 State Convention

Hot Spring Village wins multiple awards

 

The 111th Arkansas Knights of Columbus State Convention was held this year in Little Rock. Another great Award year for Council 10208 of Hot Springs Village Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.  It was quite a night for the council. Pictured below from the left, Deputy Grand Knight Rich Rivera holds the "Just Ask" and "CPID" awards; Grand Knight Ed Doyle has the "Large Council of the Year" and "Faith" awards; Mary Anne Honzik displays the "Community" award plaque and her husband Bob holds the "Family of the Year" award won by the Honziks.

Presenting the $84,500.00 check are Most Reverend Bishop Anthony Taylor, State Deputy Roy Anderle and his lovely wife Cathy. Receiving the check on behalf Pine Bluff Arkansas Hope of the Delta is director Debra Burchfield.
