Knights of Columbus Night with the Mavericks

On Saturday night the 28th of January we will be sponsoring a night with Mavericks.  The Mavericks are the hockey team in Independence, Mo.  At the present time we have 75 tickets on hold and another 75 on standby.  The game will start at 7:05 with a tailgate party starting at 5:00. The location for the tailgating is at the south end of the arena near the door to section 104.

The tickets are $30.00 each, of which $20.00 cost of ticket, $5.00 donation to the Hope House (women’s shelter), and $5.00 for the tailgate meal.

I am asking all of you to get the word out to all of your members so we can have a huge turnout for this event.  Remember this event is open to all family members and friends.  Your friends are also our friends.

The 8th of January will be the last day that tickets will be sold, that gives me time to receive and then mail the tickets out.  As before the tickets will be mailed to the name and address on your check.

I appreciated all the help you gave me on the Royals game and will appreciate it again this time.

Chuck Paquette and his crew have again volunteered to do the cooking and we know that they do a very good job.  Food will be furnished for the tailgate party but drinks are BYOB.
