I call your attention to our Annual Organizational Meeting for Fraternal Year 2017-18 scheduled July 21st through 23rd at the new Best Western Boulder Falls Inn and Conference Center in Lebanon, Oregon. It’s a beautiful place and has the technology to provide various room sizes to accommodate as many as five separate sessions occurring simultaneously within the ballroom area.

There will be a general session but we also intend to use this opportunity to have separate sessions for the District Deputies, Grand Knights, Financial Secretaries and Hispanic Work Group with our Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Jesse Villarreal. Our Supreme Membership and Program Consultant Pat Maloney, along with members of our State Team just returning from their specialized Supreme Sessions will be with us to help make our time together productive. One expected “product” is that councils return home with their Action Plan.

Our Major Goal is for this combined Team of State Officers, District Deputies, Program Directors, and Council Grand Knights and Financial Secretaries to outline a strategy with objectives and expectations with particular emphasis on:

• Membership Growth,


• Strong Visible Program,


• Charitable Growth,


• Training and Leadership Development,


• Spiritual Growth as a Catholic Men’s Organization.

“As a volunteer organization, I know mandatory words are not the means to seek attendance, but I hope you feel the importance that the Oregon Knights will be that instrument that reaches out to those in need, is the right arm of the church and is the channel that provides spiritual growth for this group of Catholic Men. This Meeting is definitely needs both ‘new’ and ‘seasoned’ Grand Knights and Financial Secretaries”
