The Saskatchewan Knights of Columbus, Saskatchewan Pro-Life and Campaign Life Coalition have teamed up in a joint coordinated effort aimed at hosting the 2017 “March for Life” to be held on the Legislature Grounds May 11, 2017.
I would encourage Councils and Districts to team up together and arrange travel by large bus or 15 passenger van, if possible to obtain, so as to travel together to the “ March for Life” Event. Please be reminded that there is a State provided subsidy for 15 passenger vans and large buses travelling to and from this Event.
If members are looking to travel by the above types of vehicles and you require a subsidy you are asked to contact the Culture of Life Couple either by e-mail: g.wiegers@sasktel.net or by telephone: 306-342-0033.
The Schedule for the Day’s Event is as follows:
12:30 Mass/Ecumenical Service for Life at Christ The King Church.
1 – 3:00 Registration at the Legislature Grounds.
1:30 Walk from Christ The King Parish to Legislature Grounds. (20 min.)
2:00 Celebration Of Life Program.
2:30 Group Picture on the steps of the Legislature Building.
2:45 Witness to Life on Albert Street to Victoria Avenue and return.
4:00 End of Program.
