GENERAL AGENT: LUKE NIEMEYER, FICF

 

Luke Niemeyer, is the general agent serving the Central and South Western part of Illinois. A Knight since 2003, Luke joined the Order to broaden his faith and get involved in  his community.

 

After serving two years as a field agent in Southern Illinois, Luke took on the role of general agent in 2010. His primary goals as a general agent are recruiting, training and supervising field agents as they fulfill the vision of Fr. McGivney by serving the Order’s families.

 

Originally from Clinton County, Luke graduated from the Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville in 2008.  He is also a graduate from Mater Dei Catholic High School.  He holds the professional designation of Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC).

 

Luke understands the importance of continuing his education to better himself and the agents in his agency. Luke is a Past State Chief Squire for the State of Illinois. He met his wife Rebecca while taking a Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) retreat in High School, and they married in 2009. The couple has two sons, Liam, 4 and Lincoln 2.

 

Rebecca works as the agency Office Administrator.  The first two and a half years as a General Agent Luke served in Western Iowa.  Where he was able to turn a underperforming agency around. Before moving on the Iowa Agency was ranked in the top 25 of the entire Knights of Columbus.

 

He and his family transferred back to Illinois in June of 2013.  Luke prides himself on recruiting, training and fostering top level financial professionals dedicated to providing the best service and advice possible to Catholic families.
