Worthy Grand Knights, Membership Directors, Others Bringing Candidates:
Hudson Council #5162 will be holding a First Degree ceremonial on the second Friday of each
month in the 2018-2019 Fiscal Year.
Degree Location: St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 25 Library Street, Hudson, NH 03051

Additional Information:
The degree will be conducted in the church hall, which is located in the basement of the church.
Please use the first entrance closest to the parking lot. Upon entering the building, a council member
will escort the candidates to the Antechamber, which is located in the sanctuary of the church.
All candidates are to report to the Antechamber no later than 7:00 PM.
Please contact First Degree Team Captain at least two (2) days before the degree to inform them of
the number of candidates and spectators. Please do not delay in making arrangements for your
candidates. The Degree will be cancelled unless enough candidates are registered by the
Wednesday immediately preceding the scheduled date.
The dress code is suit jacket and tie with appropriate footwear for all candidates and spectators.
The principle of this degree is Charity, so let your council show their enthusiasm and support for
these candidates by their attendance at this First Degree. All Knights who are Spectators must
present a valid current membership card in order to be admitted to the Degree Ceremonial.
Each attending council must bring the following:
- Council constitutional roll unsigned by candidate.
- Form 100 signed by the candidate
- A First Degree Membership kit consisting of pin, rosary and booklet “These Men They Call
Knights”.
- A First Degree membership card signed by the Grand Knight and Financial Secretary.
