FIELD AGENT: SK Henry Rangel, LUTCF, FICF, CFFM, MDRT

Henry Rangel is the Assistant General Agent for Knights of Columbus councils in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and Diocese of Beaumont. In that role he educates, guides and advises Catholics on all matters pertaining to their financial security. He also assists in managing a successful team of field agents in the Knights of Columbus Rangel Agency.

Henry believes that his success as a Knights of Columbus agent is rooted in his passion to help his brother Knights and his ability to illustrate the relevance of different financial strategies to meet the specific lifestyle goals of Catholics in his community. Henry shares those goals. He was a founding parishioner at St. Edith Stein Catholic Church in Katy where he served as an usher and RCIA sponsor. He and his family currently attend Christ the Redeemer in the Cypress area. A strong believer in community service, Henry also is an active volunteer for Special Olympics.

Henry joined the Knights of Columbus in 2002 becoming a third generation Knight. He became a field agent in April 2006 and obtained his Fourth Degree shortly thereafter. Henry has achieved his Fraternal Insurance Counselor Fellow (FICF) designation, Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation, Certified Fraternal Field Manager (CFFM) designation, and is a lifetime and current Court of the Table (COT) qualifying member of Million Dollar Round Table, which recognizes the top one percent of all insurance and financial planning professionals in the world. Henry served as President of the local sub chapter of the Texas Association of Insurance Counselors. He also was a featured speaker at the inaugural Knights of Columbus Sales Conference.

Henry holds a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. He is married to his beautiful wife, Amanda - a graduate from Texas A&M. Here's great proof that anyone can cooperate and work well with Henry! Amanda and Henry were blessed with their daughters, Olivia Grace, in March 2013 and Antonia Rose in February 2014. They welcomed twin girls, Amelia Faith and Elena Hope, to the family in November 2015, and Evangelina Joy was born January 2019.

Catholic families form solid, lasting relationships built on trust with Henry and experience the peace of mind knowing they have a readily available resource in him as their Knights of Columbus agent. Together, Henry and his clients are dedicated to uniting families in service to the Church, the community and fellowman.
