FIELD AGENT: Joseph Abbott, FICF, Grand Blanc, Burton, Flint, and Mt. Morris

Joseph Abbott is a Field Agent for the Knights of Columbus with the Sneller Agency, serving Brother Knights and their families in the Grand Blanc, Burton, and greater Flint area. Joe became a Field Agent for the Order in 2017.

Originally from Grand Blanc, Joe attended High School at St. Thomas More Academy, and graduated from Mott Community College. Prior to becoming an Agent, Joe was a mortgage banker. When asked why he joined the K of C Field Force, he said, “I became an Agent to help my Catholic community by providing financial aid to my Brother Knights and their families.”

Joseph is married to Patricia, who is an HR Manager with Webasto. They are expecting their first child, a boy, in April 2019. They are parishioners at St. Matthew's Church in downtown Flint, and Joe is a member of the Holy Family Council #6742 in Grand Blanc. Despite being a relatively new Knight, he is already a 3rd Degree, and has actually been involved in the Knights for the past 15 years, as his father & brother are both 3rd Degree Knights as well. During that time, he has helped with the Tootsie Roll fundraiser, volunteered at Catholic Community of Flint by being their website director, and has participated in many other service projects in the area.

When asked why he is credible and what he hopes to achieve for his members, Joseph said, “With my education & training, my experience, and my Catholic upbringing, I feel I will provide exceptional service for my Brother Knights and their families. I want my members to have peace of mind knowing that their families are financially secure.”

In his relatively short career, Joseph has accomplished much, and has earned many accolades: He was named the MVP of his Field Agent Training Class at the Corporate Office in Connecticut in April 2018; he was awarded the "Chairman's Challenge" Achievment for placing the most Life Insurance policies at the end of the Fraternal Year June 2018; he was the Agent of the Month for his Agency in July 2018; and he was the #2 producing Agent in the entire state of Michigan in September 2018, just to name a few.
