2023 Scholarship Application

Guidelines

  1. Applicant must meet all qualifications for entry into and be accepted by an institution of learning as defined in guideline 2 below.
  2. The scholarship money will be paid only to a University, College, Junior College, Technical School, Business School, or Seminary for educational cost upon confirmation of the student’s acceptance at that institution. The selection of the institution is the student’s choice, and the Scholarship money will be paid directly to that institution.  Any scholarship not directed for payment by the beginning of the coming school year will be forfeited and the funding no longer available (barring further pandemic disruption).
  3. The application form must be completed, according to all instructions and returned with all required documents by mail postmarked no later than Friday, May 2, 2023. This applies to all other required materials such as essays, school transcripts, etc.
  4. The scholarship is open to any high school senior who is a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
  5. Evaluation and selection of recipients is the responsibility of the Scholarship Committee made up of individuals outside of Council 7736. The recipients are selected solely by the Scholarship Committee alone.
