Jack and spouse Debbie have two daughters Kristen is the oldest and is just recently married and lives in Denver Co. Katie is the youngest and is in Little Rock Arkansas Jack’s charity beliefs becomes apparent as he volunteers his time at the Community Storehouse in Keller, and has for over a year and serves with four of his Brother Knights every Monday and volunteers for additional duty when the pantry is in need. Jack has brought a new degree of levity to the team and makes it a “Fun day every Monday”. Jack has also brought his organizational and cleaning skills to the team and has really helped to improve the pantry functions. Jack also has a hobby, and is reported being the oldest competitive ice hockey player in captivity playing competitive hockey with the 20 and 30 year olds in a league and the best part is he holds his own very well. Brother Eddie jumped right in to the meetings and activities of Council #759. His interests and enthusiasm was soon noticed. He assisted with many projects for charity including Burrito Sundays, Fall Fest and many others all while serving his Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. He and his spouse are supporters and very active in the Pro Life activities at the Parish also. Brother Knight Eddie works some long hours that sometimes takes away his time he would rather devote to his favorite interest ... his family. July 2013, he was nominated and elected by Council #759 as an officer, and holds this office yet today, serving proudly. Although he is a relatively new Knight of Columbus he sets the example that Father McGivney envisioned for all Knights of Columbus in 1882. I am proud to recognize his efforts, dedication and enthusiasm by announcing the selection of Brother Knight Eddie J. Laguana as Knight of the Month for December 2013.
Brother Knight Marc C. Bollon, November 7th 2013 Brother Knight Marc C. Bollon joined the Knights of Columbus, Council 759 as a 1st Degree Knight June 4th 2012. He was exemplified to the 2nd and 3rd Degrees, August 11th 2012. He wasted no time in volunteering his assistance where he could, even while holding down a full time job with responsibility for security at the DFW Airport. He and his spouse Arcy have two beautiful children and are a very devote Catholic family in the Parish of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Keller, Texas. Noticing his willingness to volunteer and do more for the Knights of Columbus in support of Charity and Family involvement. Ed is almost a full time Acolyte serving often at many Masses and Vespers. The Director of Liturgy often relies on Ed for help and he always responds positively. When a special Mass is needed for Corporate Communion or before a Major Degree that Council #759 sponsors, Ed handles all the arrangements for that Mass, with our Church Priests. Ed’s dedication is also shown as he leads the Rosary before each business meeting of Council #759. Because of his obvious dedication to Church and Knights of Columbus. Ed was asked in July 2013, by the Diocesan Deputy to be the Diocesan Chairman for the Knights of Columbus Chapter’s Seminarian Support Program. SK Brock Childress was exemplified 1st Degree Knight of Columbus in Council #759, April 22nd 2010. Brock didn’t waste any time as he was exemplified in the 2nd and 3rd Degree September 18th, 2010. Brock was exemplified a Knight in the 4th Degree in 2012, has his regalia and participates in Honor Guards. Brock became very active in many council and assembly events, therefore making many Knight of Columbus friends. Brock was elected to the Guard position of council #759 and also was elected to the Guard position in Assembly #2857 and currently serves both positions. SK Brock Childress wishes to be active and participates in many Knight’s functions and recently volunteered to fill the position of Hall Manager for council #759. If you want to have a long conversation with Brock or Sandy, ask them about their children or grandchildren. SK Brock Childress and spouse are very devout Catholics and are active in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Keller, Texas. In the three short years as a Knight of Columbus, SK Brock Childress has certainly taken advantage of becoming a Knight of Columbus and sets an example for other new bothers coming into our Fraternal Brotherhood.
Richard Laporte, has been a Knight since September of 2009. He recently transferred into Council # 759. Since that transfer he jumped right into attending most all of the business meetings and volunteering his time to many of the projects Council #759 has. Recently you would see him in front of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, helping get donors for blood drives. He helps and is very useful in the kitchen area when cooking is being done for a catering event. He even helps with serving at some of these events. He has worked with Community Director Dan Porter on many other projects for Charity in the community. Richard stepped up and volunteered to be Chairman of the upcoming Fall Fest for our Council, which is no small project itself. Richard also helps at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton as an usher and does so on nearly a weekly basis. Richard may be somewhat new to Council 759 but he soon made many friends in our Parish and among his Brother Knights. We are truly thankful for all he does. The Robert M. Nolan Council wishes to acknowledge his efforts and recognize him for his great volunteer attitude and his big smile while doing so. We recognize Brother Knight Richard Laporte as Knight of the Month, for June 2013.

Jimmy (JD) Wright
Sir Knight Jimmy Wright, recently retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, with 42 years of service. He became a First Degree Knight of Columbus in April of 2010. He completed exemplification to the Third Degree a year later and also became a Sir Knight in the Fourth Degree shortly thereafter. Although he is relatively new as far as the average seniority goes, in our council, he certainly became well known for his dedication and service to our founding principal of Charity, by working nearly every function that requested help. He has established himself as the "go to Knight " when help is needed for a project. His love for cooking and serving on the catering committee is very apparent and appreciated by all who work on that committee, as well as Special Olympics and various other committees. He recently chaired a fundraiser that helped our council get the needed funds for improvements to our facility. He is also known for his big smile and cheerfulness at all times. He is a pleasure to work with.
Michael (Mike) Potts
Sir Knight Michael C. Potts (Mike) needs no introduction. He has been an active, Knight of Columbus for 14 years, since November 1998. During that time he has participated and chaired many charitable events for Council #759. He is a past office holder and a present office holder within the Robert M. Nolan Council of Keller, TX. He recently completed a successful fundraiser of the Easter Smoker fundraising event and was the Chairman of the Annual Fish Fry, which has been very successful year after year under his Chairmanship. Also you will always find him very involved with the Vegas Night Event year after year and contributing to its success as well. He also works very diligently on the Catering fundraiser in Council #759. Whenever an event is being held, this Brother Knight will most likely be there. He finds time to contribute to these many events even while raising a family and working a full time schedule. Which is a task by itself. We at the Robert M. Nolan Council #759 of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church are thankful for the service and commitment of this Brother Knight. We are proud to present the March 2013, Knight of the Month Award to Sir Knight Michael C. Potts.
I am extremely proud to announce the Knight of the Month, for February 2013 is Daniel D. Porter. Brother Porter has been active in the Knights of Columbus for 21 years, joining in May of 1992. He is a Past Grand Knight. He is just as active today and maybe even more so, than when he first joined. He is also a Sir Knight of the 4th Degree, of San Juan Diego Assembly #2857. Most recently he voluntarily took control of the Carter Blood Drive, a leaderless function of Council 759, and turned it around successfully in a very short time. By doing so he benefitted an untold number of people in our community. His tireless efforts are noticed by many. When a project needs to be done and volunteers are needed, he is usually quick to respond to a request for help. He recently renewed his training as a extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, serving communion to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Parishioners. Our Council is blessed to have this Sir Knight Daniel D. Porter as member and the Community Director of our Council #759.
Brother Dan Cleary, is currently the Recorder for Robert M. Nolan Council #759, Keller, TX. a tedious job and he does it very well. When volunteers are needed, Dan is on everyone's list, a Brother that will be asked to help. His charity is obvious to all. Dan has been Chairman of Vegas Night for two years and has organized a large amount of duties, prizes, facilities and personnel to make each project a success, not a small task. We recognise Brother Dan as a valuable member and leader of our Council. It is with great pleasure we award Brother Dan Cleary the "Knight of the Month Award".
We have a Knight among us, who is very valuable to Council #759. He helps us meet our Charitable goals, month after month. He has to spend a lot of time planning, organizing, purchasing, accounting, hauling and setting up equipment, cleaning up the equipment, and as his duties are mostly outside, he has to endure unfavorable weather conditions sometimes. He must recruit people to volunteer and help with all these things. He is a leader and volunteers respond to him. If he and his crew were not present at their normal business day and times, many Parishioners would be upset.
Knights have a member who is a work horse around here, not only in our Council but also in everything he does. I have worked with this man a number of years at BNSF Railroad and he works as hard there as he does with his volunteer work. He is a staple at the Community Store House in Keller, he is much appreciated for many years of devoted work there. He is active in the Boy Scouts of America Troop 32 here at SEAS. He quietly goes about taking care of the lawn and flower beds at our Council property. He has done all this service and many others for several years. I am proud to recognize Garey Ketcham as Knight of the Month, November 2012 from the Robert M Nolan Council #759.
Andy Wheaton is one of our worthy KC Insurance Agents who not only fulfills our insurance and investment needs but is a Knight who is always there to help a brother Knight or the needs of the council. Andy is a fixture at the KC Hall and especially in the KC Hall kitchen creating all those wonderful culinary delights that we consume monthly at our meetings. Andy is our worthy insurance agent , a great Knight and family man who lives his life serving others.
Terry is very active in the Knights, particularly when Fall Fest comes around, he is vice chair this year. He recently chaired the Baseball Raffle ticket sales, sometimes selling all by himself after Mass. Terry volunteers for the Fish Fry every year and is a valuable member of that committee. Terry is also on the Hall Committee and helps with all things Hall related. He is often at all work days to volunteer his time to help.
Edward Yrisarri, Jr.
The Knights of Columbus are proud to have a 63 year member of the Knights of Columbus and his ability to minister to prison inmates over the last 11 years. He has been called to minister to incarcerated persons and try to bring them closer to God. Ed goes about his ministry without much attention. It is difficult work at times and we are proud that he is a member of Council #759 and a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Keller, TX
Dave, thank you for all you do to keep our Hall well maintained and the extra work you do almost daily, to make sure we have a great place to meet. Your efforts really show and we appreciate you.

Mr. and Mrs. John J. Malik Jr. and Family Brother Knight John (Jack) J. Malik Jr. was exemplified into the Knights of Columbus in the 1st Degree on June 26th 1983. He was then exemplified into the 2nd and 3rd Degree on October 1st 1983. To date a total of 30 years of service and is an Honorable Life member of the Knights of Columbus. Brother Jack and spouse Carol were married January 2nd 1965 and will celebrate 50 years of Matrimony on January 2nd of 2015. After retiring from the Air Force he went to work for Lockheed Martin and retired from that company with 22 years of service. Brother Jack doesn't really ever retire he very active in his volunteer work at Baylor Grapevine in the emergency room and volunteers at the Friars Mission in Ft. Worth. When not working his volunteer positions he enjoys playing golf. Brother Jack attends most all of the events of the Knights of Columbus, Council 759 and is often asked to assist in many functions the Knights support. It is with great appreciation and many thanks that the Robert M. Nolan Council #759 recognizes and awards the Family of the Month for April 2014 to Colonel and Brother Knight, John (Jack) Malik, Jr. and his spouse Carol and their family.
Sir Knight and Past Grand Knight Andrew M. Bahl (Andy)
Sir Knight Andrew M. Bahl was exemplified in the 1st degree in March 2nd 1995. He was exemplified into the 4th degree September 22nd of 2001. Sir Knight Andy Bahl, is a Past Grand Knight of Council #759 and it is known he was the only Grand Knight that used a “rubber mallet” instead of wood. Sir Knight Andy is also a Past Faithful Navigator and the second FN of the San Juan Diego 4th Degree Assembly and a past Trustee. He was elected and served as a District Deputy in the Fort Worth Diocese Chapter, July, 2011. He and his Lady Susan have been married for 47 years, and have three daughters and one son. He has served on so many events and functions in his 19 year tenure that it would be futile to try and list them all. His service to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church is well known and appreciated by the clergy and parishioners. He has come to the aid of many at various times, some aid is known about and some is not, but this I and many do know. That to anticipate the needs of others is a sign of true Christian charity. To spend much of one's time alleviating the sufferings of others and bringing joy to one's neighbor brings witness to the reality envisioned by Father Michael McGivney, founder of the Knights of Columbus. This is a pattern of service that several Parishioners and Brother Knight’s can witness to, as they tell of things they have seen or experienced when working with and knowing Sir Knight Andy Bahl. He seems to have never failed in his interest and concern for others and makes no boast of it, just privately keeps on serving his Brother Knights, Parishioners and anyone who is in need, expecting nothing in return. The Robert M. Nolan Council, #759 is proud to have the Bahl family as members of our Council. We recognize them for their dedication to the principles of the Knights of Columbus by awarding the honor of Family of the Month for March 2014 to the Sir Knight Andrew M. and Lady Susan Bahl and family.
Sir Knight and Past Grand Knight Omar Holquin
Sir Knight Omar became a Knight of Columbus May 1st 1979, 34 years ago. He completed the 2nd and 3rd Degree one month later, June 1st 1979. He has since been exemplified into the 4th Degree as a Sir Knight. He is a very successful Past Grand Knight serving with honors in a Council in Northern California. He is an Honorary Life member of the Knights of Columbus. After college he went to work for NASA and remained there until after the landing on the moon in July of 1969. Afterwards he went on to other opportunities in New York City and around the Country. Sir Knight Omar J. Holguin and Lady Irene, his bride of 54 years, have 8 children who are spread throughout the US. Sir Knight Omar and Lady Irene have 16 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren and life is still young so they expect to have many more to carry on their family name which they have traced back to the 11th century! One of the many highlights of his Knight tenure occurred during the 102nd Supreme Convention in Denver, Colorado, Sir Knight Omar J. Holguin and his Lady were invited by the 12th Supreme Knight Virgil C. Dechant, as special guests at this convention for his accomplishments in the Knights of Columbus. Supreme Knight Virgil C. Dechant was the predecessor of Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson. The Supreme Knight knew that Omar was from Friendswood, TX. There is also an artist from Friendswood, Laurie Whitehead, who has ties to paintings in the Vatican, particularly "Quinto Dentenirio," which depicts the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's arrival in America. The original painting was donated to Pope John Paul II by the Knights of Columbus in 1992. It was in honor of the Knights of Columbus Centennial celebration of 1982. Sir Knight Omar J. Holguin was presented a special centennial commemorative copy of the original painting, by Past Supreme Knight, Virgil C. Dechant. Today this Centennial Commemorative copy hangs in a special place in the council office of the Robert M. Nolan Council #759, Keller, TX, donated by Sir Knight Omar J. Holguin and Lady Irene. Sir Knight Omar and Lady Irene are devout Catholics and have been a valuable asset to our Parish and Council with experience we appreciate having. He has worked on and Chaired many programs within the council. He presently serves as an officer of Council #759, Keller, Texas. The Robert M. Nolan Council takes great pleasure to recognize 34 years of Knights of Columbus service to Sir Knight Omar J. and his Lady Irene as the Family of Month of January 2014.
Sir Knight Sean and Lady Yvonne Arrossa
This Sir Knight was exemplified in the 1st degree in August of 2005. He then was exemplified in the 2nd and 3rd degree the following September of 2005. He was exemplified into the 4th degree September of 2006. Some might say “He is All In.” by completing four degrees in about a year's time. That is a correct statement because he then served the next 8 years thereafter as a very active Knight of Columbus in his local council. His service to the Knights of Columbus is very impressive. He was first appointed as Program Director in July of 2006. He was elected as Chancellor of his local council in July 2007. He was appointed to Financial Secretary by the Supreme Council in March of 2008 and then elected to Grand Knight in July of 2011 and served in that capacity along with being the Public Relations Director for the council until July 2012. July of 2012 his occupation required a move to Keller, Texas. His family became members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and he transferred his Knight’s registration to the Msgr. Robert M. Nolan Council #759. Knowing his service record at his previous council, he was asked to serve as membership chairman upon his transfer, which he accepted and served very well by recruiting several new members to the Knights of Columbus, and also assisted the degree team with ceremonies during his tenure as membership chairman. July of 2013 he was elected to Deputy Grand Knight of Council #759 and has proven to be a successful program director. November of 2013 he became the Hall Committee Chairman of Council #759 and leads the committee as they move forward with hall needs and improvements. Sir Knight Sean Arrossa and Lady Yvonne and children have helped with many events in our Council including assisting the chairmen of the recent New Years Eve Party and making it very successful even with last minute major problems. Sir Knight Sean N. Arrossa and Lady Yvonne live in north Fort Worth and have 4 children. The members of Msgr. Robert M. Nolan Council #759 are proud to have the Arrossa family as members and the entire Council recognizes them for their dedication to the principles of the Knights of Columbus by awarding, Sir Knight Sean N. Arrossa and Lady Yvonne and family, as Family of the Month for December 2013.
Sir Knight Rob Meyer and Lady Debbie
Sir Knight Robert A. Meyer and Lady Debbie. Sir Knight, Robert A. Meyer completed 1st degree in January of 1991, he completed the 2nd and 3rd Degree shortly thereafter. He completed the 4th Degree exemplification in September 2001. During his service to council #759 he has served in many capacities including Membership Director, and still recruits at all Knight events that he attends today. His efforts in recruitment have resulted in many new Catholic gentlemen becoming a Knight of Columbus and no doubt he will add more to his recruitment totals as time goes on. His involvement in the 4th Degree is very commendable as he has served as a Color Corps Commander, held the offices of Pilot, Captain, Faithful Navigator, Admiral, and now is a trustee of San Juan Diego, Assembly #2857. During his tenure as Faithful Navigator he accomplished installing lights on the flags around the pond on Church property for night time use. This was a difficult task, it was accomplished and we are thankful for the results. He also secured financing and volunteer help to complete a much needed storage facility for the 4th Degree items needing a central place for access by members. Robert A. Meyer (Rob) serves St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, TX in many capacities. He and his spouse Debbie work tirelessly in several ministries to make SEAS the best Parish it can be. This Sir Knight and Lady Debbie have also been involved with Why Catholic and various bible study groups. Sir Knight Rob is a graduate of the Naval Academy and served as an officer. He is also an aircraft pilot and using that skill, Rob and Debbie served as missionaries to the people of New Guinea by flying needed supplies to many of the populous living there. Sir Knight Rob Meyer and Lady Debbie are proud to have 4 children and 14 grandchildren. They often have visits from their grandchildren at their home in Keller. We are proud to have members like Sir Knight Rob in our council with the desire, commitment and humility that Father McGivney envisioned members having in the Knights of Columbus. It is my pleasure as Grand Knight Council #759 to recognize Sir Knight Robert A. Meyer and Lady Debbie as the Family of the month for October 2013.

Before Ken converted to Catholicism in 1982, he would always say to his wife, “You are always at the church doing stuff.” Then Ken converted to Catholicism and immediately joined the Knights of Columbus and became involved from day one. Now his wife says to him, “You are always at the Knights doing stuff.” The Monsignor Robert M. Nolan Council 759 of the Knights of Columbus is proud to recognize the Family of the month for August 2013 awarded to: Sir Knight Kenneth J. and Lady Therese Baker and Family.

Timothy M. Johnson
Several years ago my spouse Carol and I were asked to accept a position with Council #759 as Pro-Life Directors, a movement I am very involved with and still am. When I was elected Grand Knight, I had to give up the position but not the dedication. I did a lot of searching for a married couple that would continue with the work Carol and I had been doing, and there is a lot of it. It takes a dedicated Knight with his spouse per protocol to be Directors. It might even help if he served in the Marine Corp, which he did. I not only picked the right couple, but a couple that has exceeded expectations and continues to do so. They are also on St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Respect Life Committee. They are involved with the Baby Bottle Campaign, the Chain of Life organization, the baby diaper drive, they lead and pray at the abortion mills very often. They are organizing a bus trip to Austin on January 26th to influence our State Legislators to vote Pro-Life. He Chaired the Knights of Columbus, Spaghetti Dinner to recognize those that participated in the 40 Days for Life Campaign. He and his spouse also have many Church duties as he works with the youth of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in the Sunday Night Live program, teaches Children’s Liturgy at Sunday Masses, teaches Confirmation classes, he and spouse were on staff for 2012 Lock – In for Life program. He is on the Honduras Mission Council Board, and went to Honduras with Financial Secretary Tom Howard just recently. It is my great pleasure to present the Family of the Month Award from Council #759 for December 2012 to Brother Timothy M. Johnson and his spouse Teresa.
Edwin P McGillick
When it is Christmas time and when it is Lenten Season and when it is Burrito Sunday and many other activities you will find this Knight and his son at the activity and doing a lot of work with a smile. His family is involved at many Church activities, he is an acolyte and serves in that capacity and may others. He and spouse Carolina, and children Patrick (a Squire) and daughter Julia are known throughout the Parish as super nice folks. I respect this family and am glad they are a Knight of Columbus family. I happily award the Family of the Month award to Edwin P McGillick, truly a Catholic gentleman.
