Syro-Malabar Mission of Greater Washington, Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Our Lady of Fatima Council 6901 includes a Parish Round Table consisting of Brother Knights and their families, resident in the Syro-Malabar Mission, Our Lady of Perpetual Help.


The Syro-Malabar Church is the second largest Eastern Church in Catholic communion and constitutes the largest group of St. Thomas Christians. The other two Catholic Churches in India are the Latin Church and the Syro-Malankara Church.


With over 4 million faithful, the Syro-Malabar Church, is very actively involved in educational, social and health-related fields and runs 4,860 educational, 262 ecclesiastical and 2,614 health and charitable institutions.


At present the Syro-Malabar Church in America falls under the personal jurisdiction St. Thomas Eparchy of Chicago.
