Wednesday 14 August – Business Meeting of the Msgr. Wells Council will begin at 7:45 PM.  All card-carrying Knights are welcome.  Meetings are held in the basement of the Early Learning Center behind the church.  The entrance is to the right of the building.  The Council needs the ideas of all of its Knights.  PLEASE make every effort to attend.

6 September ANNUAL CRAB FEAST at St. Michael the Archangel KofC.

Come support our neighboring Council and share a table with fellow Knights and their family members.  See the flyer in the previous WellsMail.  Also note that Marvin is moving the Household Items Exchange there this month.  Items will be available on stage behind the buffet of Steamed Blue Crabs, Crab Soup, etc., etc.  See you there!

8 September – The Council will resume sponsoring a St. Andrew’s Community Sunday breakfast on the second Sunday in September.  We will again serve breakfast after the 3 morning Masses.  New Knights - we welcome your participation! If other commitments prevent you from working at it, please make an effort to come by after one of the Masses and enjoy the meal together with fellow Knights and parishioner families!  Earn your Shining Armor Award (https://www.kofc.org/en/members/membership/member-retention/shining-armor-award.html ) by recruiting new members on this Membership Blitz Sunday.

Shift 1 is 8:15-11 and Shift 2 is 10:45-1:30.  If you can volunteer, even for part of a shift or if you can give some time before and/or after a Mass, that's fine, just let Bill Bolin know by signing up on the website or send Bill an email at wbolin@hotmail.com.  New volunteers are always welcome!  Usually we have fewer Knights for the 2nd shift, so if you're a late riser, we can certainly use your help.   You don't need any special skills.  Your help is always appreciated.  Proceeds benefit the school and have funded among other things, scholarships for students in need, a new freezer and electrical upgrades in the kitchen.

Correction September 8 is the date of the next Household Items Exchange, not August 11.  The last event held by Council 13008 in cooperation with the Gabriel Cluster of Montgomery County on July 21 netted $3,279.45.  Total proceeds are shared equally between The Gabriel Cluster of Montgomery Co. and Council 13008 of the Knights of Columbus to be used in their charitable works. Thank you to all who continue to support this endeavor.
