St. James says: What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but

does not have works? Can that faith save him? (Chapter 2)

We Are Looking for New Members!!

(Young Catholic Men are especially encouraged to join with their Catholic family and friends!)

Do you have what it takes to become a Knight of Columbus? The St. Eugene’s Knights of Columbus is looking for new Catholic Members. Requirements: Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to men 18 years of age or older who are practical (that is, practicing) Catholics in union with the Holy See. There are several opportunities for Knights to serve the Parish and Community.

The world needs Catholic men to step up and live out their faith. The Knights of Columbus helps Catholic men to answer that call to do more, and to be more. As part of a council, you’ll be able to serve your parish and community directly with the support of a fraternity of brothers who share your faith, your values, and your desire to live with purpose.

Please contact any St. Eugene’s Knight of Columbus for information.

Highlights from the February 2020 Council Meeting:

  • Our Council (10822) has agreed to host a Fish Fry every Friday during the season of Lent. These ‘dinners’ will be held between the English and Spanish Stations of the Cross and we will serve at 6:30 PM. People have signed up to volunteer, but anyone is welcome to help (and we could use the help).  Volunteers are asked to arrive between 5:00-5:30 PM to help with the dinner, serving and clean up.
  • Our Council will also be leading the Stations of the Cross Service in English on Friday, March 6 2020. Anyone who can volunteer – please contact Steve Chastain ((405) 408-8931).
  • Also, during Lent - we will be a sponsoring a Men's Mass every Saturday at 7:00 AM in the chapel. The Mass will be followed with a light breakfast (coffee and doughnuts).  This Mass and Breakfast will be held “every Saturday” except on 2/29/20, due to our requested attendance to the Catholic Men's Conference.
  • All Council Brothers (and any men who can attend) are encouraged to attend the Catholic Men's Conference on 2/29/20. You can sign up at www.catholicmen.net. We look forward to seeing you at the Conference.

with your attendance, participation and prayers!
