Today*7/1/2018) we were informed of the passing of Brother Joe Rogers. In my brief time at Rosensteel I knew him as an active Brother Knight hosting Holiday Parties with his wife Gloria at local nursing homes, giving out Tootsie Rolls in front of Grocery Stores for the Campaign to Help the Intellectually Challenged or contributing to the Good of the Order at Business Meetings.
The viewing will be at the Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, Maryland 20901 on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm.
On Wednesday Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Bernadette's, 70 University Boulevard East, Silver Spring, Maryland 20901
Information on burial is still being planned.
His wife Gloria has requested we do a Knights Rosary during the Tuesday Evening viewing at 8pm.We are asking that Rosensteel Brother Knights gather there by 7:50pm. |
