David Simmons was one of those guys you could call on to help with anything we had going on. More times than not, we didn't even have to call. He was there.
Always with a smile and a eagerness to help. He was a selfless man. He never complained. His first words, after warmly greeting you, were almost always "What can I do to help?".
His smile. His wry, self deprecating, sometimes slightly sarcastic, sense of humor was always present.
He was a truly "a good man".
He will be sorely, painfully, missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
