Domenic was the top all-time recruiter of Council 8240, held most of the officer positions, including Grand Knight, wrote our newsletter for about 8 years, was the Captain of the 1st Degree Team for about 10 years. He and Mary raised an exemplary Catholic family and they are sorely missed.
Domenic R., 87, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013. He was a native of New York City, NY and a resident of Chesapeake, VA since 1991. He was the son of the late Pietro and Carmela Pugliese Parisi and was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mary Elizabeth Bostock Parisi, who passed on August 30, 2013.
Domenic graduated from The City College of New York with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired accountant with American Cyanamid Company where he was employed for 36 years.
He is survived by his four children and their families: Peter and Matsumi Parisi and daughter Anna Maria of Columbus, GA; Capt. George and Jamie Parisi and children Evan, Domenic and George of Manassas, VA; David and Mindy Parisi and children Andrew and Aaron of Towaco, NJ; and Barbara and Scott Little and children Alexander and Liam of Great Falls.
