Obituary for Thomas R. ALLISON
Thomas R. Allison, 83 of Wildwood, Missouri, died February 10, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital after an extended illness. He was born December 26, 1934 in Kirkmansville, Kentucky. The son of the late Ervie Allison and Amanda Hinch.
Tom served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict as a jet mechanic. He retired in 1993 from McDonnell Douglas after 38 years of dedicated employment as first a jet mechanic, then an Industrial Engineer, and finally a Branch Manager. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and brother. He was especially loved by all children for his wonderful storytelling and sense of humor. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul!
Loving husband of Rosemary Allison for over 58 years, loving father and father-in-law of Kevin(Anita) Allison, Tracy(Chris) Farrell, and Christine Consolino, loving brother of Willis Allison, loving brother-in-law of John(Janet) Shetterly, loving grandfather of Melissa, Danielle, Kelly, Mary Catherine, John, Hannah, Mike, Becky, Amanda, and Emily, loving great grandfather of TJ, Jackson, Henry, Charlotte, Lani, William, Braylon, Khia, and Karoline, and loving uncle to many.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Ervie and Amanda, and his loving siblings, Mary Helen Willie, Ethel Wiggins, and Robert Allison.
A visitation and Mass will be held at St. Albans Roe Catholic Church, 2001 Shepard Road, Wildwood, MO 63038 at 10AM with Mass at 11AM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks at 1PM with full Military Honors.
