Edward Frederick Jordan, 65, died Sunday, December10, 2017 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. Mr. Jordan was a tooling engineer with Lockheed Martin, and a beloved adjunct professor at Kennesaw State University (formerly Southern Polytechnic). He earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Polytechnic Institute and enjoyed bathtub racing held on the campus, winning several of the races. He accomplished many things in life, including seeing NASCAR at Indianapolis, which gave him great satisfaction. He and his wife (finally, after much waiting) of twenty-nine years, Shirley enjoyed raising their son, Nathaniel, and teasing one another. Edward lived deeply, forgave easily, and was a loyal husband, father and friend. He had a wonderful sense of humor that many enjoyed. |
